Shimano Shifter
Can you use a sram and Shimano shifter on the same bike if it is going to the same brand derailleurs?
cause i have a shimano xt front derailleur and a sram x9 rear derailleur.
It’s fine if you use the Shimano shifter with the Shimano Derailleur and the SRAM derailleur with the SRAM shifter. The front and back shifty systems don’t interact at all, so brand name won’t matter. The front derailleur doesn’t know that you’re not running its cousin in the back.
