Do you save Lures,Reels,rods, and other terminal tackle that are or are going to stop being in production?
Yep. When I found out that the original Castaic Wooden Trout was not going to be made anymore, I bought 150 of them just to hoard as many as I could and keep them for myself.Just kidding… I never got any of them. When they were on sale for $35, both me AND my dad thought they were too much money. Boy were we wrong.
I have several packs of old Terminator, Hooker, and California worms that are no longer available. They’re all older than I am, and I’m 26 years old. A few packs of California Worms that I’ve consolidated into one big pack in particular is still catching Fish, so I really can’t say that I’m “saving” them. Why would I? They still work!
